Queechee Gorge

Queechee Gorge is an easy 2.7 mile hike with 200 feet of elevation gain. Bring your bathing suit, there is a good swimming hole at the bottom of the trail. Great views of the gorge can be had by parking in the trailhead parking lot and walking across the bridge – no hiking necessary! 20 minutes from the Farmhouse Inn.

Mt. Tom

Mt. Tom (Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park) features a variety of trails for a variety of hiking levels. The Faulkner Trail and the Pogue are popular destinations. 7 minutes from the Farmhouse Inn.

Deer Leap

Deer Leap is a popular look-out spot that provides lovely views of the Green Mountains. It is a 2 mile round trip moderate hike with 500 ft of elevation. 20 minute drive from the Farmhouse Inn.

Pico Peak

Nova’s first hike, strapped to her father’s back, was up Pico Peak. Nova and Jim hike it each Father’s Day. On a clear day, the view from the top features panoramic vistas of the Green Mountains with the Adorondack and White Mountains in the distance. This hard hike is 5.2 miles round trip with 1,800 ft of elevation gain. 20 minute drive from the Farmhouse Inn.

If you hike Deer Leap or Pico Peak, you can say you’ve hiked a section of the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail. It is a Robinson tradition to grab a local beer at The Long Trail Inn and Pub after either of these hikes.
